FOODSAFE Level 1 is required for food handlers and covers topics including microbiology, safe food handling, allergies, cleaning and sanitizing and personal hygiene. PRE-REGISTRATION is required: sally@envirofood.org OR 778.886.9137 www.envirofood.org FEE: $80.00 INCLUDES the FOODSAFE 1 workbook,coffee, extra hand-outs and certificate processing through Vancouver Island Health. Students receive a temporary certificate upon successful completion of the exam which can be used until the certificate is processed by the Health Unit. Certificates are usually ready within 4 weeks and then mailed. The certificate is valid for 5 years. Payment is by cash or cheque payable to ENVIRO-FOOD CONSULTING on class date.
