Safely learn about FOODSAFE Level 2 from a qualified, fun, experienced instructor! Plus, get a temporary FOODSAFE certificate before your Interior Health issued certificate (full and wallet size) arrives in the mail. WHEN: The course takes place over 2 days: Monday May 31st is 9:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday June 1st is 9am to 1pm. WHERE: Luso Canadian Multicultural Society (135 Winnipeg St, Penticton) TO REGISTER: email: info@interiortrainingservices.com or text/call Jennifer: 250-878-1036. FEE: $160.00 + gst ($168) payable at start of class (cash, cheque or E-transfer). Includes workbook, etc. BRING: pen, highlighter and bag lunch (no fridge). Recommend bringing water/coffee too. *You will need to provide a copy of your current/valid Foodsafe Level 1 certificate in order to take Level 2. *Level 2 does not expire; Level 1 expires every 5 years. Lunch break is 30 mins with two 15 min breaks. FOODSAFE CERTIFICATES: There is a written, short-answer quiz at the end of the course. Your certificate will be mailed from Interior Health within 4-6 weeks of successful completion of the course. Passing grade is 80% and you can receive an interim certificate when you pass.
