The course is taught by Jan Kreut, a certified Foodsafe instructor with 17 years experience. This course is being held at the Oliver Community Centre. Online registration starts on Monday, March 18. http://www.oliverrecreation.ca/ In-person registration begins Wednesday, March 20, at the Oliver Community Centre, 6359 Park Drive, Oliver. The fee of $75 is paid directly to the OCC. Bring identification, a pen, a highlighter and a bag lunch. Coffee, tea and snacks are provided. Workbooks are available in Chinese, French, Korean and Punjabi, for an extra fee. Two weeks notice is required prior to the class to accommodate alternate language workbooks. Contact Jan to request the alternate language books at 250-276-4492 Exams are in Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. A letter of completion is available after successfully passing the exam. Your 5-year certificate will be mailed to you within 4-6 weeks from Interior Health.
