Course Fees include a English workbook which will be yours to keep at the end of the course

Please note that this course is up to 8 hours in length and will require for you to have a camera and mic. Cameras MUST be on for the duration of the class and mics will need to be on for participation. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the loss of your course seat.

The course is wrapped up with a 50-question multiple-choice closed-book test on a separate date & time
A passing grade of 70% is required
Tests are held on a separate date & time from the course and a list of options will be provided to you upon registration. Tests are available in person only in Kamloops BC
The vast majority (99.9%) of our students pass the test on their first try
Temporary certificates will be issued until your certificate is processed by the Health Authority

Each class is taught by a highly trained and experienced, certified Red Seal Chef
Our instructor has countless years of experience working in and correcting all types of restaurant, food business, and food service environments, ensuring staff and management follow necessary FoodSafe requirements
They will share stories and examples of their experience in class to help you develop a better understanding of the course material
With our instructor being ESL, they understand the importance of phrasing and using easy-to-understand English for those whose first language is not English

Two 15-minute breaks and a half-hour lunch break are scheduled for each class
A relaxed and welcoming learning environment
Classes typically run for 6 hours plus 1 hour and 30 minutes on a separate day for the test
A 50-question multiple-choice closed-book test
A passing grade of 70% is required
