Cost:
- $85.72 plus GST = $90.00 per person (which includes an English workbook)

Same day testing and temporary certificate provided:
- The course is wrapped up with a 50 question multiple choice test.
- A passing grade of 70% is required.
- Tests are marked the same day and temporary certificates will be issued until your certificate is processed through Interior Health
Please Bring:
- Photo ID
- Writing instruments (pen, pencil, highlighter, etc) (if you forget we will have some available by donation on the day)
- Water, Lunch, Snacks, and Refreshments
- Sweater as meeting room temperature will be variable
What we offer:
- Each class is taught by a highly trained and experienced certified Red Seal Chef
- Our instructor has countless years of experience working in and correcting all types of restaurants and food-related businesses, looking at good and bad food-handling practices and making sure that staff and management follow necessary FoodSafe requirements. They will share stories and examples of their experience in class to help you develop a better understanding of the course material!
What you can expect:
- Two 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch break are scheduled for each class
- Basic Snacks are available by donation on the day (granola bars, juice boxes, chip bags, etc) (please bring change)
- The course is wrapped up with a 50 question multiple choice test
- A passing grade of 70% is required
- Tests are marked the same day and temporary certificates will be issued until your certificate is processed through Interior Health
- Most people pass the courses but those who don't can't can rewrite the exam or take the course again at a later date depending on their final mark

Please make sure that you requested your preferred workbook language when registering. Workbooks in languages other than English have additional fees on top of the course fee and may not be available in time for the course.
If you require an exam in a language other than English, please advise us ahead of time to ensure we are able to provide it before the class date!
Refunds & Cancellations:
- There is no refund on this course as the seats are limited
- A partial refund may be given if cancellation is due to illness or Covid 19 related symptoms if notification if received by the instructor prior to the start of the course with at least 48 hours notice. All cancellations after 48 hours will not be subject to a partial refund and will forfeit their course fee
- All cancellations require 72 hour notice. Please contact us at kuzinamesserculinaire@gmail.com if you are unable to make the class and we will do our best to find you an alternative class date
