This FoodSafe Level 1 course is designed for youth ages 14–18 who are interested in working in food service. It is ideal for front-line roles such as bussers, servers, dishwashers, cooks, and other food service workers. Participants will learn essential food safety practices including safe food handling, hygiene, preventing foodborne illness, proper cleaning and sanitizing, receiving and storing food, and serving food safely. A FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the course.
