FOODSAFE Level 1 is a sanitation training program for food handlers required to work in the foodservice and hospitality industry. Sally de la Rue Browne, CPHIC, is a Certified Public Health Inspector and Food Safety Consultant who is known for her dynamic teaching style and interesting classes. Learn about foodborne illness prevention and the techniques you can use by taking the course. A large screen powerpoint/DVD presentation ensures interactive learning. Group rates are also available. ESL students are welcome. Requests for exams in languages other than English can be made to the instructor. Students receive a temporary certificate to use upon successful completion of the exam. The FOODSAFE certificate is then mailed after processing at the Health Unit.
