FOODSAFE Level 1 is a sanitation training program for food handlers. Sally de la Rue Browne, CPHIC, is a Certified Public Health Inspector and Food Safety Consultant who is known for her dynamic teaching style and interesting classes. Learn about foodborne illness prevention and the techniques you can use by taking the course. A large screen powerpoint/DVD presentation ensures interactive learning. Group rates are also available. Payment by cash or cheque can be brought to class and a tax receipt will be issued. You do not need to pay in advance. FEE INCLUDES FOODSAFE 1 workbook, GST, coffee, extra hand-outs and certificate processing through Vancouver Coastal Health. Students receive a temporary certificate to use upon successful completion of the exam. The FOODSAFE certificate is then mailed after processing at the Health Unit.
