With 20 years experience as an Executive Chef and Certified Chef de Cuisine in hotels, private business clubs, casinos, and sports and entertainment, along with further education in Food Microbiology, I engage with students in real life food safety scenarios to enhance the learning experience. My class is held in downtown Vancouver with convenient transit connections and plenty of public paid parking. The Royal Bank Room at the YWCA Hotel offers a comfortable environment with a large LED screen. All course materials are provided including an official Food Safe Level 1 Certificate. Temporary certificates will be issued same day and are valid for 90 days while the official certificates are processed by Vancouver Coastal Health.
