WELCOME TO LEVEL 2 October 17 & 18 PLEASE REGISTER BY PHONING OR EMAILING AND LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED. PLEASE COME A HALF HOUR EARLY TO SIGN IN. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE MESSAGE. THE COVID 19 SAFETY PLAN INFORMATION IS AFTER THE CLASS DISCRIPTION. THE CLASS IS approximately 7 HOURS EACH DAY. YOUR CERTIFICATE WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 8 WEEKS TO ARRIVE IN THE MAIL AFTER SUCCESSFULLY PASSING THE COURSE. THERE WILL BE TWO TEN MINUTE BREAKS AND ONE HALF HOUR LUNCH BREAK. YOU NEED TO HAVE A VALID LEVEL 1 TO TAKE LEVEL 2. IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING LEVEL 1 WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF TAKING LEVEL 2 YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE FOOD SAFETY BASICS COURSE ON LINE AT THE FOODSAFE.CA WEB SITE. IT IS A 25 QUESTION TEST THAT DETERMINES IF YOU STILL REMEMBER IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM LEVEL 1. THERE IS A $25.00 CHARGE. FOR SAFETY REASONS THERE WILL BE NO FOOD OR DRINK OFFERED. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN. THERE IS A TIM HORTONS IN WALKING DISTANCE. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A PEN, PENCIL, HIGHLIGHTER AND IDENTIFICATION. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO BRING A COPY OF YOUR LEVEL 1 AND A COPY OF YOUR FOOD SAFETY BASICS. COPIES ONLY. YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK. Vera’s food safe instructions. PLEASE BRING A MASK IF YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED THE INSTRUCTORS HELP. Covid 19 safety plan for classes Please read Only students and their helpers are allowed in the classroom. No walk-ins allowed. Do not enter if you have not Preregistered or if you have had signs of the following in the last ten days: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, painful swallowing, stuffy or runny nose, loss of sense of smell, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of appetite or been around some one with the virus, or symptoms of the virus, or any other sickness with the above symptoms. Please always keep 2 meters apart or 6 feet from everyone. Sanitize your hands every time you enter the classroom from anywhere else even the bathroom. Pay attention to signs and tape on floor. Masks are to be worn if you need to be closer to a person than 6 feet or 2 meters. Students and helpers are always to only sit and eat at their own table and chair. It is recommended that all participants bring their own food and drink so there is less contamination from outside sources. Students will be verbally asked if they have signs of Covid 19 or if they have been around someone with the virus or signs of the virus. and their answer will be recorded on the class list. If you feel sick in class let the instructor know. Your contact information will be given to the facility administration in case of a covid 19 outbreak. Refunds are available to anyone that is ill and cant make the class, IF YOU HAVE PREPAID, minus the cost of the workbook if it was touched by the student. I look forward to meeting you. Thank you Vera
