FOODSAFE Level 1 provides instruction in the safe and sanitary handling, storage and preparation of food and is a must for all food service workers. A certificate (full and wallet size) will be mailed to you by the Northern Health Authority within 4-6 weeks of successful course completion. Exam is multiple choice and has a very high success rate. Please pre-register by contacting Riverlodge Recreation Center in Kitimat @ 250-632-8970. Bring a pen, pencil and highlighter as well as a lunch/snacks/drinks for a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks. A FOODSAFE book will be provided.
