FOODSAFE Level 1

The Level 1 FOODSAFE course is an 8 hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks and is designed to teach individuals about worker safety, prevention of food-borne illness, how to properly store, receive and prepare food. Candidates will also learn about proper methods in serving, sanitizing and cleaning food. The concepts covered in this course will teach you to stay safe, healthy and keep customers and clients safe and healthy. Successful candidates must achieve 70% or higher on a multiple choice exam. Certification is valid for five years.
