COST: $80 plus tax e-transfer, cash, or cheque. If paying by cash or cheque, please bring with you day of course. E-transfers can be competed anytime before course start date. Fee includes course instruction, workbook and Vancouver Coastal Health Food Safe Level 1 Certificate (valid for 5 years).

BEST INSTRUCTORS! All of our instructors are experienced Certified Public Health Inspectors, the ideal background for teaching food safety. They inspect all types of restaurants and food businesses, and see the best and the worst food-handling imaginable.

Please note we will follow all COVID protocol at this program. Starting time 9:00 am and class ends at 5:00 pm. Please bring a pen, highlighter, and bag lunch or you might prefer to eat out during the 30 min. lunch break.

Welcome to Level 1. To register for public classes phone or email and leave your full name, date of birth, address ,phone number and email. A workbook is supplied. There will be 2 ,10 minute breaks and 1 half hour lunch. You will need to bring a pen, pencil, highlighter, Identification, a mask, and your own food and drink . There will be no sharing in class. Please come a half hour early .Your certificate can take up to 8 weeks to be mailed to you. You will receive an interim certificate after successfully passing the test at the end of the day.

Same day testing and temporary certificate.
Masks are not required in the classroom. Distancing will be implemented with a maximum of 23 students in this spacious 1,300 square foot room.
