FOODSAFE Level 1
The Level 1 course is for food service front-line workers such as buspersons, servers, dishwashers, and cooks. If you take this course in British Columbia and pass the final exam, you will be registered in the BC Centre for Disease Control database and you will receive a FOODSAFE certificate.

FoodSafe level 1 is a food-handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for frontline foodservice workers such as cooks, servers, bus-persons, dishwashers and deli workers. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information on foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing.
