A food handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for food service establishment operators and front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and deli workers. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. A quick fun day and you will receive a temporary FOODSAFE certificate before your Interior Health issued certificate (full and wallet size) arrives in the mail. TO REGISTER: email: foodsafe.level.one@gmail.com or text/call Nansi 778-877-5801. FEE: $85 payable at start of class (credit, debit, cash, cheque E-transfer). BRING: pen, highlighter and lunch (*there is a fridge & microwave you can use). Recommend bringing water/coffee too. Lunch break is 30 mins with two 15 min breaks.
