With over 20 years of experience in the food service industry, I am pleased to offer the Food Safe Level 1 course. I am currently a teacher in the Kamloops Thompson School District, teaching Food Science/ Nutrition and Leadership courses, which include coordinating the cafeteria, concession, and banquet meals for community events. I am a semi-retired teacher (B.A Sc. MEd )with a Master's degree in Education and have taught Foodsafe for many years to various learning styles.I have taught high school Foods and ESL classes and also had experience in the restaurant business. I give interesting examples to enhance and re-enforce the learning of Foodsafe principles. I was certified for Level 2 but prefer to teach Level 1 and hope to soon be teaching live FS zoom classes.
