FOODSAFE Level 1

Welcome to level l. To register phone or email and leave your name, birthdate, address with postal codes, phone number and email. Level 1 is an 8 hour class. You will need to bring a pen, high lighter identification and any food and drink you want. You will have two ten minute breaks and a half hour lunch break. Come a half hour early to sign in and pay. Work books are supplied. You can pay by cash or e transfer. Business's can pay by check. l The class can take up to 25 students. let the instructor know ahead of time if you need a book or test in another language.

COVID-19 REGULATIONS: COVID - 19 safety practices will be in place including a maximum of 20 students in the premises. Students will be seated at least 6 feet apart. FEE: $85 plus GST - total $89.25 payable by e-transfer latest 2 days before training. No password required.

FEE- $50 at the beginning of class, cash, cheque or e-transfer. Includes workbook, exam and Interior Health Certificate valid for 5 years.

CLASS TIME - 8:30am - 4:30pm, please arrive a few minutes early.

BRING - Identification and a bag lunch, or you may prefer to go out for the 30 minute lunch break.

FOODSAFE CERTIFICATES - Same-day interim certificates will be issued while your official certificate is processed and mailed through Interior Health Authority. An exam re-write, if needed, will be available at a later date at no extra cost.

The Level 1 Food Safe course is an 8 hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks and is designed to teach individuals about worker safety, prevention of food-borne illness, how to properly store, receive and prepare food.
